I was sent a message reg. a recharge of Rs.24/- and the call tariff would be changed to idea - idea 40ps. other mob - 40ps. land line 50 - ps. To reconfirm the same to make the message clear that there is no hidden information in the message I called the idea customer care. The same message was repeated to me and I even asked them clearly on the same and they said yes it will be activated imm. I recharged for Rs.24/- and my call charge remained the same as my old tariff. When I called the customer care again I was told the system is slow it will take sometime call after 1 hr. even then nobody told me about anything. I called 2 hrs later to confirm whether I plan had changed they said it has changed. The next day I made a call and my charges was the old tariff. when I called customer care again only then they are saying it is not applicable to Bangalore it is only applicable to some other towns which can't be mentioned in the message. I asked them then when I called they should have told me this I would have recharged as it is of no use to me. The customer service staff along with the floor supervisor are very rude and are not willing to take any responsibility. They have to be taken to task for wrong / incorrect information given and not attending to customers problems / issue.
