Wrong information given to collect the orde

I got a call from India Today book club for offer where they mentioned that your name is selected in draw where you can book order for Samsung phone worth Rs. 12498 and draw will happen on 31st March. They assured me of receiving of min Rs. 10000.00 as cheque even if name is not selected in draw. On checking with customer care about the status of the order, they are saying the person who had called for collecting order has given wrong information and there is no scheme like this. They are just fooling the people to collect the order.
