Non working Gas lighter not replaced

I bought a gas lighter at More Supermarket, Gurunanak branch in the second/third week of May. At the time of buying it, I was told that it had one year guarantee. However, after three days it stopped functioning due to loose threads, and breaking into component parts. As we had to go on vacation for ten days, we didn't return it then. When we returned, I approached the stores and asked for repair/replacement. To my dismay and surprise, the store in charge said that he could not take it back as it was around 25 days from purchase. He said there was no one year guarantee. When I insisted, he said that he would inquire with the dealer and phone me. But even after three days he did not call me.

More is a supermarket run by a well known establishment. The gas lighter they sold has no name of the manufacturer on it, leave alone any isi marks. Moreover, the rudeness of the people working in the stores!

I vowed that I would never visit it again. My advice is:

KEEP AWAY FROM MORE SUPERMARKET.
