I had given the NOKIA 5130 XPRESS MUSIC handset for repair on 22nd july at NOKIA CARE - CISCOM Infotech Pvt ltd., Barrackpore, West Bengal.
The handset is within the warranty period. However, on 23rd July the person from Nokia Care has called & asked to pay Rs.330/- as service charges since the handset was liquid damaged.
I would like to reinstate that the handset has never been in contact with any liquid & the problem was while transferring music from other device got affected with virus. Hence, the handset was not getting switched ON.
The details of the complaint was lodged with Nokia care at 033-30303838 on 23rd July. Have spoken to the agent Shikha Sethi, who spoke rudely & said that she can't lodge any complaint. Also, the customer has to pay the service charges as asked by CISCOM Infotech Pvt ltd., Barrackpore, West Bengal.
