Goods Damaged in Transit

Sub: Consignment NO. 4068019/4068020

I am an working in SEBI and have been recently transferred from Kolkata to Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. In this connection I have availed Agarwal Packers & Movers DRS Group’s service to pack and transport my household items from Kolkata to Mumbai. But as my goods reached Mumbai I found my computer and fridge are damaged. I had contacted Mumbai office and their insurance agents have visited for inspection. I was assured compensation from their side but for the last few days I am getting no response from them.

Here are my details:

Consignment No. 4068019 (Goods) dated 15/05

-do- 4068020 (Car) dated 15/05

My bill amount is Rs. 56430/- and i paid Rs.30000/-. I have to pay the remaining amount. I am ready to pay the balance payment, provided Agarwal Packers visit us and compensate for the damages of fridge and computer for which we have paid insurance coverage with Agarwal only.

I have to submit my bills to my office for reimbursements from my office. But before that I need the matter to be settled so that I can make the balance payment.

Kindly use your good offices to get the damaged items rectified or replaced since I have already done insurance with the Agarwal Pakcers
