Defective battery

I am totally dismayed the way Exide Industries Ltd. handles its customers. I purchased one inverter battery bearing sr no.5D0 311633 on 2-5-10 thinking it to be a good quality battery. But it started troubling me within one year. I arranged to send it to Alwar through the dealer but they returned the same with a comment ok & return. The service engineer added acid in the defective cell and returned the battery. This battery gives back up only once as it comes from Alwar. The moment it is put on any inverter its back reduces to 10-15 minutes. Dont know when Exide authorities will wake up
