NEVER PURCHASE ALTEC LANSING Brands any product as - THE COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY SERVICE AFTER WARRANTY.

NEVER PURCHASE any product from CROMA as they give false commitments in concern to customer service provided by various brands and do not support customers.

I'd purchased ALTEC LANSING speakers 5.1 from CROMA, Ghatkopar, R-City on 19 Aug'09 - bill no. 175-16375. When I contacted ALTEC LANSING service centers (Rashi Peripherals, India Digital Life Style Pvt. Ltd.etc) for the repair needed in my speakers (3/5 not working), all the service centers of ALTEC refused to provide service saying that the company does not provide parts for products out of warranty, which is 1 year only. That means after the warranty period NO SERVICE FROM ALTEC LANSING COMPANY & it's SERVICE AGENCIES. They said visit any local electrician and get it repaired. EVEN CROMA executives said that when company is not offering service they can not do anything. My question is why do outlets like CROMA - TATA initiative keep such company products which does not provide after sales, after warranty service to the customers.
