How to trust our pre-paid/post-paid billings?

If i get a doubt, that my billings are over taxed how could i verify the genuinity of my bill? Even though i keep on writing each and every outgoing calls plus sms and every other things in a separate note book, and i find the bill taxed on is incorrect, how can i prove that the company bill is wrong? SUPPOSE, A MOBILE COMPANY PLAN TO EXTRACT SOME EXTRA AMOUNT FROM THE LARGE CUSTOMER BASE, AND DEPLOY A GENIUS-PROGRAMMER. HE WRITES NOW A PROGRAMME. HE PICKS UP THE FREQUENTLY CALLED NUMBERS IN ALL CUSTOMERS DATA, AND WITH THAT F.C.N. HE CAN CREATE SOME FALSE BILLING, AS TO, ON A PARTICULAR DAY, MONTH, YEAR, AND TIMINGS, HE CAN RANDOMLY GENERATE A MASS BILLING TO ALL OF THE CUSTOMER. FOR EXAMPLE, I FREQUENTLY CALL TO SOME" XXXX" NUMBER, YOU CALL TO SOME "YYYY"NUMBER. On a particular day say on 05.03.2007 by 3.00 to 3.15 pm, and again 07.03.2007 from 6.00 to 6.15 pm he put a false billing for both of us! Since it is a minimum fraud and invisible one like totally 15 15 minutes, wrong billing for each of us, we will not be in a position to know that! Is it not? Even though I found out the fraud, how come I prove myself what i noted myself is correct and the billing is wrong! Suppose, the same programme is applied to all the customers, what will happened. And why not it could be and can be happened?

My question here is: are there any cross-check is possible, and is it not our legitimate right to have a parallel measuring systems for call units in a common place for the customers?

After all, if I buy 1 kg sweet from a petty shop, i can cross-check the weight in another shop, but in this case, where millions of customers and billions of rupees involve, Union Govt. never take any step to give assurance for correct billing!!

Is my doubt is legitimate or not? What is your opinion?

What steps we can take for this to ensure our correct billing?
