Blackberry / 8520
NOT REPLACED BY BLACKBERRY

In January while i was travelling europe through Dubai. As I changed my European no. to my blackberrry 8520 phone. Some problem occurd and it did not come on after changing SIM card. I tried 2-3 times. At last I shown to Blackberry selling counter at Airport. Because I was scarred as all my appoiment nos. were also in phone only. When no solution came out. I borrowed my friends phone in Dubai and keep my phone in my bag in a hope that I will get it repaired in India.

After coming back to India, I submitted my phone to Recognised blackberry center only. But they came back to me last week by saying that no warrantee is applicable and I will have to pay 80% of phone value for repari. Its very irresponsible behavious. Instead of helping me in recovering my more than 800 contacts which were like life blood in my service industry, blackberry is asking componsation from me. Is it my fault that I trust blackberry and use it since long time. My this set is only 5 lmonths old. With lthis complaint, I want help from Blackberry otherwise I will have no other option to go legally and Ofcourse I will never trust the company again. And it will be shameful for company.
