I had recharged my prepaid card on Sunday, 18th March with Rs.222. When i did not get a confirmation message from BPL in the next 2 minutes (which i usually do get), I confirmed with the Dealer if He had received the confirmation! On referring the Confirmation Message i noticed that i had typed in wrong number. I had typed a "6" instead of a "9" which had caused the Recharge for some other user instead of me.

We immediately contacted the Dealer Support and took down the details for a "PULLBACK" message. I sent the message to the mentioned number and was informed that the transaction would take 24 hours to complete. I waited on Monday and Tuesday hoping to receive a recharge successful message. On Tuesday Evening I returned back to the Dealer to confirm the status and was informed that the transaction was still under process.

I called the Dealer Support Helpline again & was given the number for Mr. Rajesh. On contacting Mr. Rajesh, he informed me that he would get back to me regarding the status in half an hour. The next day when i called him again (I was able to reach him only after calling about 3-4 times), He put me on a conference call with Someone named Anil who informed me that the "Wrong Number" Guy had used the money and the current balance in his cell was not sufficient for the Pull Back and that now i would have to wait for the Guy to recharge an amount above Rs. 200 for them to Pull back the amount.

This is really STUPID as the guy may never reacharge so much of amount, Or may recharge enough after a year or so... How can they expect me to wait for so long?? and y can't they just put the balance in NEGATIVE amount for that guy and return me the money ASAP? Also Y did it take them 4 days to service the call and that too after i called them (Mr. Anil was not even aware of such a message sent to them!!). This is really ridiculous and i intend to make BPL pay back for this.

I was informed by the Dealer that as of today whatever Pull Back's he has done, He has till date never received the Money. "Insufficient Balance" is a very common answer they get. THIS IS A FRAUD!!
