Land line not working

Since date of installation (one year) the telephone has gone completely dead every alternate month, each time for about a month. The electronic complaint booking does not accept the copmplaint saying that the number is non existing. I am not in a position to go each and every time to the area manger (Banaswadi) and to the Telephone exchange (Krishnaraja puram- Bangalore) to explain the situation.
