DELAYED REPAIRS AND REFUND OF RENTALS

Snl takes very very long (3 to 4 weeks) to repair telephones . we removed internet because we could not use it due to either phone dead or line noisy but were paying the rent for the whole month.

When all rentals are deducted it is incorrect. All exchanges have housekeeping function computers which record the complete data and bsnl knows when the tele phone went dead and when was it repaired . it has data of usage of phone for billing purpose for every second in the billing system computer.

Bsnl being government owned should on its own reduce the rentals and not ask the consumer to lodge a claim or go to consumer court.

In fact i suggest rentals must be charged on daily basis because telephone is a twenty four hour service.

will the min of consumer affairs. tdsat or trai or such body teke up the matter so that customers are not cheated and bsnl revenue also grows by providing uninterrupted service.
