Non receipt of amt. on surrender of telephone

I was having a land line no. 2697777 while I was working at Coimbatore. On my transfer to Calicut in Jul I surrendered the said phone. I was informed that an amount of Rs 3, 600.00 [approx] is due to me. However, despite my follow up on so many occasions, I am yet to receive the same, even after lapse of one year and three months. I wonder what is required to be done further to get refund of the amount.
