BSNL Landline
No facility for new line

In this 21st century can you believe that there is a locality for which there is no facility for providing landline telephone. I am staying in madambakkam near Selaiyur in a flat where there are more than 25 flats and when we approached BSNL rajakilpakkam for new lines their reply was "there is no feasibility for lines to your building because no fiber optic cable was laid as we thought the area would not develop". can you bear this and there are no good private operators with a wired line and after 4 months in the month of April they extended line from the road to our flat and said within next 10 days you would get a line and now the whole of May is over still no one from BSNL has turned up and the things are left as such.
