Pesky messages and alerts

I've purchased an Idea Sim recently mostly due to their tariff plan. But ever since getting this provider I've noticed that every 5 minutes a message pops up in my mobile (not in my Inbox folder, but similar to balance notification or delivery report type pop-up) from "Idea Power" to activate some unwanted service (cricket facts, rs.3 per fact) and I keep pressing the exit key to ignore the message. Even if once I press the OK button accidentally, which will certainly happen since those alerts come up every 5 minutes or so, 3 rs will be deducted from my account. I cant even contact the customer care since the default language is set to Kannada which I can't understand and hence I don't even know how to change it. I'd like to request any Idea representative here to stop those alerts.
