Hi,

My name is Manish Narang { Idea Mobile no - 8983509995 }and I just ported a day back to Idea from Tata Docomo hoping I would get a better service.

I called up the customer service to know about GPRS plans and was advised to go for Rs 98 plan in which I would get 2GB per month and not more than 70 MB per day.

I happily activated the plan and started using the service, and after an hour of usage, my balance was down from Rs 90 to Re 1.

When I called 198 to complain about the same I was told that I had to wait for 4 hours for the plan activation and start using after receiving a confirmation message.

Now I never received a confirmation, even though it’s been 12 hours since I got the GPRS recharge done and I was not informed by your advisor SANTOSH about the wait time before the plan was activated.

I fail to understand how this is my mistake for which I should suffer a loss on my first day with Idea, and the senior complaints executive Rekha who spoke to me when I called 198 said she can’t take my complaint as the balance deduction was correct.

I would really appreciate if you please look into this matter, and resolve this issue because it is certainly not impressive if something like this happens on my first day with Idea.
