Internet card balance deduction

I recharged my mobile with idea internet card of Rs. 89. Within a few minutes I got a sms saying about the successful recharge and then one sms which said that internet card has been activated. Only after it I connected to internet and soon I realized that my balance which was over Rs. 250 it came down to close to 0!!!
