Efooled by an idea sales guy

I am a loyal vodafone customer, where i got an sms from an unknown no. stating- that sir if you are interested in buying this new post paid idea no. 9594878999 so please call on xyz no.

I did as i urgently need one new postpaid no. I called the guy asked him what all documents u will need for this new idea no. and i handover all of them to him (idea sales person) and in return he gave me the sim card against paying him Rs. 400 which he told is a kind of deposit which will be adjusted in your bills for the no. 9594878999 which wasn't activated, awaiting for my new no. to start i got a call from idea that you don't have the police verification. So i asked him to return my money and take simcard back as i was busy with my schedule so i cant go for police verification.

Then was it and then its today i have been reaching to this guy, calling him to his no. 9594111114..his name is rahul..he is one of the sales agent. Have talked to idea's customer care and reported them but there is no feedback yet. Last month i had a word with him he told that i will pay vodafone Rs. 400 on your behalf. And there is nothing he had done till yet. I am not worried about my money but the kind of people working with Idea which is a reputed company is really shocking and outraging.

I believe there would be something which can be done about this problem and people like these should be treated miserably. They are going for easy money by befooling people and there is a whole chain which follows may be there seniors are giving pressure for selling the products (simcards) or may be they are taking there share from it.

I hope this consumer complaint forum will help me and my other friends will let this problem settled.
