After submitting all documents in time, Idea Cellular ask for resubmission of all documents and new application

I am Mathew John K, having post paid connection of Idea Cellular since March. I had got the Pre paid connection in April. I submitted all documents while purchasing prepaid connection and postpaid connection. I have also paid the deposit or Rs. 1000 for ISD facility recently. Now they are sending me sms, and email and demanding to resubmit a new application with ID and Address proofs. They justify that it is as per TRAI norms and all Idea customers are directed to do so. But this is not true, as many of my friends having Idea postpaid connection have not been asked to do so. IDEA cellular say that they will disconnect if I do not apply afresh with all documents. This is injustice. It is due to no fault of mine, that they harass me like this. There is, as far I know, no general press note or Website notification regarding this. Please help.
