I got a sms from 5432105, informing me that

" Congrats! you have been subscribed to auto tips on mobile @ Rs 10 for 10 days of service. To deactivate 999*101#Jobs Anywhere, Anytime for everybody, call 543212660 now! "

I was just wondering, I never subscribed to it, How Airtel subscribed my number to this service without my knowledge. More surprised since I never expected such unethical business practice from Airtel. I called the helpdesk, and they informed me to call 1909 and register for do not disturb. I did the same with confirmation number I1019262157. Hope Airtel stops deducting money from customers without getting their explicit consent. or atleast they call and get user confirmation before deducting the money.
