Rejection of Mobile Number porting

Hii

Myself Pramit Mishra from Ghaziabad. I Submitted a request to port my IDEA number 9891096869 to Airtel. I submitted all requisite application & ID proof in Airtel outlet in RDC Rajnagar Ghaziabad on 29th January. i got two SMS from Airtel stating that your porting request has been received and your porting request has been accepted.

After that 15 days are gone but my operator has not been changed. Airtel is claiming that some unknown person has already made a request for this same UPC/ Mobile Number. My query is that how an unknown person can make an application for my Mobile number, especially when operators are asking for ID proof and proper signatures on application. Either IDEA or Airtel is making me fool or TRAI doesn't have control over the situation arised after MNP initiation.

No one from Airtel or Idea contacted me during this period nor i got any SMS except 2 very initial sms of application acceptance.

Please resolve the matter
