VODAFONE&-gt, AIRTEL
MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY -BLAME GAME

Dear Readers,

Be very very careful before porting from one network to another, i am experiencing the worst tantrums spoken by VODAFONE blaming AIRTEL n vice versa!!

porting request was made, i got a unique code stating the present date, time and valid till date bla bla!! submitted with all the document xerox with sign and latest photograph to AIRTEL relationship center in porur, its just so called relationship center, the people who are working there are not degree holder's i guess, either they dont understand what you speak or what is your needs! Application submitted date 05.07.2012 time 12.00noon, with a smile they gave me new simcard and got the money for it and promised to change within 7 working days, when i went today, 18.07. i enquired about the status of the MNP given to them, funny thing happened, same girl, who was hesitant to check the list of numbers which was applied for MNP, and made me wait, after 15min, she checked and said documents sent and called to a guy and asked blindly about the MNP details without mentioning the my mobile number, That guy on that phone wanted to talk to me, n the phone was passed to me, i enquired the current status of the MNP, i guess he is jack of all times, told me a story which anyone who will not believe, that once the porting code request is sent, automatically VODAFONE will have to disconnect the network, and AIRTEL simultaneously will activate the new sim given to me! when i asked how would VODAFONE know, which network i am switching over untill you submit the request for porting to AIRTEL, the jack of all times did not have any answer and hang the phone.!

In the late evening i called the VODAFONE customer care and enquired about why my number is not ported yet, the person who spoke to me, told me to hang the phone and got back in the line and told me that i am an elidgible customer for MNP, i dont have any issues with VODAFONE and VODAFONE has not received any request for porting, with all smile, i asked him, how come i get an sms when i requested for MNP without VODAFONE's knowledge?? then he really started to think what to say next! then he got a good reason later stating that no request from any network came to MNP, with all smiles i got irritated and i asked whose fault it was!! all blinks and pause, silence is what it was...

BLAME GAME CONTINUES!! I AM DOCTOR WORKING IN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY IN PORUR. I HAVE BOUGHT 3 SIMCARD AND HAVE SUBMITTED ALL THE DETAILS REQUESTED BY THE NETWORK DEALER. NO ONE IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS...

IF ANY OFFICIAL'S READING THIS KINDLY DO TAKE THIS ISSUE SERIOUSLY, BECAUSE THE SIMCARD IS SOLD FOR MINIMUM OF 50 BUCKS AND JUS IMAGINE IF THEY DO LIKE THIS TO 2% OF THE PEOPLE, THEY MAKE A HUGE REVENUE FROM THIS...
