Getting promotional Calls

I have been receiving calls on my MTNL landline regarding getting some caller tune. It comes every 10 minutes and I have myself picked it up 10 times now. When I am not there, my old parents have to run from the bedroom to the hall, getting up from their sleep and they end up getting this nuisance calls. Finally I have switched off the landline by taking the plug off from the phone socket. its really irritating
