I have a airtel connection with number 9880780676 since 2006 & have always made the payments promtly & never exceeded bill amount of 500 rs in 5 years but all of a sudden I received a bill of rs. 2617 which is way beyond my normal usgae limit & Airtel claims it's GPRS Data usage. I had activated 3G services for using internet on phone & made some usage but not so much that Airtel claims. It was 100rs for 100 MB package I had activated & they said I would get a notification/alert on usage of 80% but I never received any alert. Hence I was under a impression that I am within the 80% limit but when I received the bill it said I have crossed usage limit & the bill was excess. Now they are not only denying to provide waiver but also cancelled my number without any notification. This is impacting my business too. I need a stringent action to be taken against airtel for inconveniences caused to me.
