Prepaid Sim Replacement Issue

I have lost my mobile handset with prepaid airtel SIM (No : 9008493298) in Nov while travlling to airport for abroad. When I returned back and enquired about getting that sim back in airtel office they told me to fill an application. Once I have filled the application they said for verification we need some details. They asekd for balance amount and the validity. Unfortunately I don't remember this 2 details exactly. I hope nobody who uses perpaid will not remember the balance always at any point in time. I have told I will provide the original idendify proof which I have submited when taking the SIM. But no use. They are adament on this two details which most of the people don't remeber. I got fedup and taken an vodaphone SIM. Just wanted to tell whoever uses airtel prepaid should notedown their balance and validity after every call and recharge. I am planing to surender my broadband and digital tvs as well for which I am using airtel. If airtel is intrested in giving me the same SIM 9008493298 after taking diff dtails which I can provide like idendity card I have produced when purchasing the SIM, whom I have made the last call at what time etc... the please contact Naveen : 9916814333
