The Monthly rental charged for bill date 6Dec11 is incorrect. The plan I had availed is the 799 plan and I have not placed any request either verbally or in written to change the plan. I have been charged 893Rs plus taxes in place of 799Rs plus taxes which is the rental charge as per the plan worked out. Moreover there had been a whole lot of incovenience and disruption of services for 5 days in the month of Nov11 as Airtel lineman had intensionally disconnected the line owing to an argument which happened the previous day.

When I checked with the airtel customer service organisation, I was told that the rentals of the plan have been increased from this month and I can't register any complaint. Kindly note that this was not informed to me either verbally or in writing and I have not signed up for an increased rental plan either. I dont think it is acceptable to overcharge the customer without the customer's approval to any plan upgradations or rental charge upgradations. The customer cannot be held liable to pay the revised charges levied without his/her consent and can only pay the charges they had signed up for despite the disruptions. Would have appreciated if Airtel could have informed the customer and had requested the customer to look at the revised Tariffs and sign up for an appropriate one which has happened.
