Wrong GPRS Charges

AIRTEL LIVE was somehow activated on my POSTPAID NO. 9867598655 WITHOUT PRIOR INFORMATION and WITHOUT my knowledge. I am sure this must have been done intentionally to levy charges on my phone account.

I HAVE NOT USED the phone for any services while i kept on receiving some random messages which said i had received some information or i have subscribed to some service. When i tried to even unsubscribe some service, then i got message of wrong code, server down and received further links to deactivate subscription, which never worked to deactivate the service. They levied some 300 per month of subscription charges and more than 6, 000 of data charges, which i am still figuring out what it was. They say i have made some 1300 hits, which i am not sure which hits.

I HAVE NEVER AUTHORIZED THEM TO ACTIVATE ANY SERVICE WHATSOEVER AND NEVER ASKED FOR ANY DATA SERVICES OR DOWNLOAD. I DON'T KNOW WHY OR HOW have they arrived at such charges.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS and a MALPRACTICE BY AIRTEL TO EXTORT MONEY FROM THEIR POST PAID CUSTOMERS.

In fact i wanted to convert this no. to PRE-PAID when i was relocating from MUMBAI, but they said they have MIGRATION plan which will cost 100 Rs, per month and all INCOMING CALLS will be FREE under this plan. I opted for it, because they told me a VERY TEDIOUS process for conversion of NO. to PRE-PAID no. and were hesitant to do that. NOW, they have PUT charges of 7, 000 Rs. in a MONTH!!! Thats why i think they wanted to keep the no. as POSTPAID.

THIS IS EXTREMELY BAD Practice OF LEVYING WRONG CHARGES by AIRTEL.
