Not allowing to Port out

Dear Sir/Madam,
I had an Airtel number 9892987861 and on 15th of March I had applied for porting request. I had got porting request number "AM829241" immediately. After that I had done lot of follow-ups to Airtel and even written emails to "121@in.airtel.com", but they are not ready to release my number. They just say we cannot do this.
I had requested them and even warned about complaining on Consumer forum, them but they are just not bothered. Can you please let me know, what should I do?
I had also told them that its government order to release customer’s number within 7 days, but no effects on them. If we call them on customer care they just hang-up the call. That is really unprofessional.
I am tired of following them now. I think it was my biggest mistake to take Airtel connection in the past.
Can you please tell me what can I do?
