This is in reference to mobile number 9779586770. I have the following concern:
I had inadvertantly made an extra payment of Rs. 2455 in the month of January and also filed a complaint at 121 regarding that. I was told that my refund can not be processed and i iwll have to get it adjusted against my bill which means i was expected to wait to get the adjustment done for atleast three months, expecting the bill to be atleast Rs800 for each month. After a lot of time wastage on the calls with supervisors and their supervisors, i was told that the check will be sent. I never received the check. I called again in mid Feb and was told that the check was returned to airtel and they will be sending it again. Now it is 17 april and i still dont have money in my account. My bill is 1800 for which my connection has been disconnected.
I wrote to the nodal officer and was hung up on by some executives and others kept on repeating that I need to give some indemnity bond for the check.
I have some questions regarding this:
1. Why was I not told by the first executive that I need to give some bond to get my money? After three months of this ordeal i get this information.
2. I confirmed to the customer care representative twice that my address is in Chandigarh, but he never asked me to get my address changed from Patiala to Chandigarh. This information was again given to me on 26th Mar.
3. I am highly disturbed with the conduct of the people i spoke with in your organization. One of the ladies I spoke with 'Rashmi' was very rude and hug up on me. She told me that she doesnt have time to waste on me. Courtesy is a distant thing, they dont even know their jobs. Every person I spoke with gave me different information.
4. After three months of constant effort to get my money back, I am being blamed for not following the process. Did I not follow the process when i made a call to 121 to register my complaint?
I have spent atleast 15 hours on phone trying to talk to someone who will get me a resolution and this is what you offer me after three months. I have had this number for a while now and if the records are checked, one can see that I have made all my payments on time. Then why do I have to wait for this long to get my money back?? It was a lax on your part that the check dint reach me. You still have Rs. 2455 in your account which rightfully belongs to me. I would request someone to take care of this as soon as possible.
