Activation of caller tune

On 6 Dec, received a call from customer care regarding activation of caller tune. Replied as not required. Then said another msg will follow then reply in negative for that, caller tune will not be activated.

Next day 7 Dec received a Msg at 1545 h that caller tune has been activated and Rs 30 has been deducted for service.

Since then called customer care three times on 7 Dec and every time same reply "system under updation" cannot process request, contact after one hour. Mean while the call is being charged.

On 08 Dec same thing happened, two times replied same (system updation in progress". After a request to talk with supervisor, Mr Tarun Karmakar came online. When explained the problem he siad it cannot be so, as we will not activate unless a request is placed from customer.

When told It happened that caller tune was activated from your end, he refused that and stated that it happened as customer (I) requested. Moreover, facility can be deactivated but money will not be refunded..If u want u can complaint.

Finally the facility was deactivated around 2315 h but the Rs 30 charged was not refunded.

Now I have to paid Rs 30 was deducted for activation, every time calling charges amounting to Rs 5-7 deducted. Is it fair,
