Airtel Post Paid -GRPS
Automatic activation and Renewal of games services

Hi,

I am using Airtel postpaid services @9866612062 for 6 years now, and activated GPRS around 7 months ago.

For past three months I am charged Rs 99 for some games which I never downloaded.

Also I get message saying the games service has been renewed.

When I speak to customer care, they said that just by clicking webads I will be charged Rs 99 irrespective of whether I download game or not.

But he could not explain why the service gets renewed automatically.

First of all, just by clicking ad, customer should not be charged, there should be some kind of confirmation.

Secondly, services should not be automatically renewed.

Nice way of cheating customers and taking their money.

Also when I sent request twice last week for deactivating GPRS to avoid this money loss for nothing, GPRS was still running on my phone. Though I got confirmation message twice that it will be deactivated in 48 hours.

Dont know why AIrtel is doing this to customers. Thinking of changing my Service provider.
