Airtel Ringtone Scam

I am an airtel Lifetime prepaid subscriber. Recently I was told by my friends that they are getting obscene and rude messages when they call my number. I complained regarding this to airtel and they told me that its a ringtone that I have subscribed to. They also mentioned that they have deducted Rs 10/- from my account for this ringtone. I was shocked because I never subscribed to any ringtone and on top of that, such obscene ringtone. I told them to stop the ringtone immediately and refund Rs 10/- to my account. They told they can stop the ringtone but cant refund the amount. I would like to highlight this scam which they are running by deducting these small amounts from user accounts without their knowledge. Please let me know what options I have to fight this out with them. Its a matter of principal for me and airtel should not go scott free just because they are a big organization. strangely they were too eager to dissconnect my account if I wished so.
