Got message of winning 500000 $ in my aircell

Sir my father got a message from 917838262386 in his aircell no. 9807100979 that his mobile number have won 500000 $ in 2011 all asia mobile awards dubai..and to claim the amount contact to DR IBRAHIM @ asia.aed@live.com... so my father want to know that is this true these types of awards and he should contact him? we did not contact him because of mumbai blasts, we are afraid to mail any unknown id... so plzzz help us...
