Playing games to return the money

We had invested with Deccan Resorts Rs. 29, 000/- for planning our travelling trips to places in India as well in abroad, but they were a total failure to deliver their services. For the first Ooty trip only which they had gifted us they could neither book a hotel for us nor at the time of checking out transfer the money to the concerned hotel. We had given them a written letter to answer for all this they did not turn out. When we again reminded them, they gave the option of a written assurance that this would not repeat again or taking the money back. We chose the second option of taking back our money but they gave us a PDC of ICICI Bank which when deposited got bounced.
