Physical Abuse & non-refund of cancellation amount

Hi,

This is Arnab Biswas (working in bangalore for last 5 yrs, currently in Nokia Siemens Networks, bangalore), booked an APSRTC bus ticket for two from Bangalore to Nellore from a travel agency named "EAGLE TOURS AND TRAVELS" (B.O.#3, Basement, Anjaneya Complex, Kodihalli Airport Road, Bangalore - 08) (APSRTC ticket Number 15232907/DW 51721, 15233184/DW 51719).

Due to unavoidable reasons, I cancelled the bus tickets on 13/10. The amount supposed to be refunded was INR 2256/-. On that day, the travel agent (Nazeer, Phone Number 94486 87012) did not pay the money and asked me to come later. He wrote the refundable amount and signed on the back side of the cancelled ticket (attached).

Later when I visited the shop on 27th Oct to collect the amount, they asked me to come later again as they don't have the money. I re-visited the shop on 30th Oct again. This time they paid INR 1500/- and asked to come again. Finally I went to the shop to collect the rest of the amount on 31st Oct, evening 5 PM as instructed by them over the phone. This time, they directly said that they don't know when they will be able to give the money, but at that moment they can't refund it. This was my fourth visit to the shop and as I have disagreed to their proposal, they started using abusive language and also tried to physically abuse me. There were four persons including Nazeer. I ran away from the place out of fear and right now reporting the whole incident not because I lost INR 750/-, but because of the verbal and physical abuse made to me by the travel agents. I am not able to accept this harassment where I am not guilty at all.

It's important that as a citizen of bangalore we should have the proper security & respect. Hereby, I am requesting you to please look into this matter & take necessary steps.

I have attached the tickets of APSRTC as well as the business card of Mr. Nazeer.
