India Today Book Club vide mail (deals@offers.indiatodaybookclub.com) dated 20.04.10 had offered Encyclopaedia Air Ticket Holidays for Rs.3198/-. The mail also stated that the offer is valid for a couple for 65 destinations in India, that only 3 to 5 star property are offered, that offer is for 2 night & 3 Days of Accommodation, 2 Veg meals and return Air Tickets and that the Holiday Package is valid for 1 year.

On 29.04.10, after debiting the amount of Rs.3198/- from my Credit Card, mail was sent from “response@indiatodaybookclub” informing that my order has been put under process with order no TELESALES/0GA100013982. The order value is Rs. 3198 and Order Date is 28-APR-10. the mail further stated that I will receive an email and a sms with my despatch details soon.

I received the Encyclopaedia after a couple of days from 29.04.10. when I contacted India Today Book Club through their mail id “response@indiatodaybookclub” and Tel No. 011-40502424 for claiming the Holiday offer therewas no response. In fact I sent 3 mails from 21.10.10 to 08.11.10 and called up 011-40502424 several times. They talked very nicely before getting the money. After wards no reply at all for the mails sent.
