Not Providing Vouchers

I will like to share this with all concerned, so that others are also not duped.

I bought books from India Today Book Club. Alongwith books i received a form to claim Holiday voucher. I was required to send this form alongwith DD of Rs.800/- I sent the same to them on 20th April`11, but there is no response from their side after that despite numerous follow-ups.

Key points to note here are:-

[1] Their Terms & Conditions states that they will call customer within 15 days of receiving form along with DD, it didn’t happened.

[2] Their Terms & Conditions states that DD should be sent at least 45 days before the said accommodation is required. I sent it on 20th April, for requirement of June end, thus by giving a clear window of 2 months. When i called again today, they asked me to give another date for July or later, whereas it took me hardly a day to confirm booking from all 3 properties of city [mentioned in their brochure], and accommodation on said dates was available in all three.

[3] Form states their contact number as 080-40554850, whereas when you dial this number, you are told, its not a correct number and dial 080-40554870.
