Non refund of Money

Five of us paid Rs.70, 000/- each to Nepal Tourism Packagein New Delhi (address: DCM Building, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi - 1) in May for arranging a trip to Manasa Sarovar in Tibet, China via Nepal (Khatmandu-Mansa Sarovar-Khatmandu). For reasons not known exactly to us, the NTP failed to arrange the trip and we asked for refund of our money. They promised to refund the money through their letter dated 24th Dec. for an amount Rs.67, 346/- after deducting some charges by a post dated cheque dated 15th July. We have all the correspondence on the subject. Despite many personal calls on telephone and letters and emails and also a lawyer's notice the cheque has not been received. I therefore am approaching your reputed consumer forum to help us in advising what I/we need to do more to realise the money due from NTP for a long time. Kindly help us.
