Poor quality product!

I have purchased the Onida tv 3 years ago. For my surprise the tv refused to work after 3 days. I requested to have the tv changed however, they refused it flatly.

I am wondering what tv company in India provides good service. Is the government doing anything for the helpless consumers who are cheated by 3rd grade companies like these. I don't think going to consumer court is any good besides wasting time and money.
