Recording from Mobile not working with Airtel DVR connection
Hi,
I purchased normal Airtel digital TV connection sometime around March. Customer ID: 3003445662. Location: Bangalore. Around May 1st week, I upgraded to Airtel DVR (Recorder) connection. As of now, I only have 1 connection and that of Airtel DVR. I'm successfully able to record programs from set top box.
However, I'm unable to record any channel from my mobile. I was successfully able to download the mobile application, login using my credentials. I'm also able to see list of channels. However, when I select the option to 'Record' any channel, I always get a message: "Please upgrade to Airtel Digital Recorder to enable recording". It seems that somewhere on the account, it thinks that I do not own a recorder. I've opened up several Service Request for this issue and Airtel just resolves it in 2 days without even checking with me. It seems that the representatives are more interested in the number of cases resolved within a timeline rather than actually resolving the case. I spoke to Mary also who is floor manager here in Bangalore, but still no resolution.
