Without Notice channels disconnect

Hi,

we are using more than 1 year of dth service from airtel,

In my current package I am satisfied with current list of channels,

So I recharged for 1 year, when I recharged for 1 year suddenly they disconnect one of my favourite channel number (517) (Aditya) without any notice, I called to customer care but they are telling like the cost of the channel is high so we disconnect the channel.what is the mean of I recharged for one year,

somebody suggest for this,
