Airtel the “worst service” ever experienced – A disgrace to the entire service industry -Missed the Golden moment – Cricket world cup finals on the so called DTH

Date 1st t April contacted Airtel customer care, informed that the STB is not working (Adaptor problem)

They gave me a request number & assured revert by 3.30 pm 2nd April, I knew that this will never happen based on my previous sad experiences, Hence had been to most of the local Electronic shops to get this fixed but each one of the attempts failed (Adaptor compatibility is only from Airtel provided /Company specific)

I called up the Call center & asked for the Amps & Volts required, The info was not available with him

Came back home & contacted Airtel CC again, the supervisor promised that the issue will be fixed

By that the match had started but i gave some more time.

At 5 pm contacted CC again, i refused to keep my phone down from then till 9.00 in the evening (I WAS ONLINE FROM 5PM TO 9PM – STILL THE BARBERS WERE NOT ABLE TO SOLVE THE ISSUE)

The CC supervisor contacted a few mangers but none of them picked up the call & finally he contacted a service engineer, the service engineer called me immediately & said he will there in next 30 minutes

Guess what? He never turned up till 7.30 pm & finally when i called em up he gave me reason as his bike had a break down and is with a mechanic, i wanted the name of the shop where he is standing, so that i can pick em up, he denied to give the name & questioned me am i joking?

I got pissed off, It was the Indian Cricket match which each one of us want to watch at home but the reason given by Sr Engr was absolutely unbelievable & asked for his manger no, he refused to give the number & said he will not be coming & i can do whatever is required (Now this is one of the reasons why i don’t keep disconnect the call as i knew the service is pathetic)

Finally the supervisor Dharmendar at 9.30 pm from 5.00 pm who was online managed a call from Service manager Arun Kumar, both assured that the service engr will be there (It was a conference call), he did come... but it was too late, it was the 45th over and Indian Team showed signs of winning the Cup, I viewed it with the help of a local cable connection (Which turned as a last resort and served my purpose)

I refused Airtel service at night and requested Service manager Arun Kumar to forgive me for opting this kind of a service, He requested as a Gently but the purpose was not served

I am Indian and I cheer for India each time, irrespective of India winning the match or not

But with Airtel who use to take 300 Rs as the monthly Charge were incompetent with service

I had to call up my friends to find out the score, my mom & I usually watch cricket together, I do not stick with friends on these days as my mom loves cricket

I & my mom had to stand near my neighbors door step to watch a few moments of the Cricket initially

I felt insulted as my neighbor uses a local connection & was able to taste the match but i could not

You tell me is this service? Is this what i deserve for paying 300 Rs more than anyone else in the locality and do not get to see the match?

And this is not the first time u are disappointing me, Last 2 instances are where you

Deducted Rs 300 Twice is still not refunded to my account & a call back on my issue, when the sales officer without taking my consent deactivated the South Channels and charged Rs 325 every month

Airtel added some north Channels like Bengali, Punjabi others, which i don’t even understand

You tell if I write this letter in French will you understand, in the same way if u gives a channel which i don’t understand and deactivate my home channels what is the point?

Are you people not ashamed of yourself for taking my hard earned money and not serving me when it was required on golden day, All i wanted was the match & you bunch of Unprofessional barbers screwed up the best moment of my life

As a result of all this, I have cut the cable wires as the issue is was not rectified on time and very soon i will throw your box in to the garbage & will take a snap of this & paste the same on Facebook, Orkut YouTube every where, with a much detailed letter (This was informed as a warning & your supervisor Mr (I donot remeber the name) he is for me doing this), So let me try this

And and and, You will not be able to put any connections in Thubrahalli anymore as i will spread this story as much as i Can

You are a disgrace to the entire Service Industry and frauds who do not refund the money which is debited from my account twice

If you try to Debit any Charges from yesterday onwards for my account which still has a balance of Rs 100 & do not refund my Deposit, I will copy this instance with proof to media every where

My slogan Never buy Airtel the local cable is much better, Airtel is a Disgrace to the entire service Industry
