This is to clarify that the Indian Institute of Financial Management is a scam,
My following reasons justify my reason.
1. In 5 years of it's operation in Mumbai it has shifted it's college location AT LEAST 2 TIMES. From Bandra Kurla Complex to Andheri West and now off late to Guregaon East. Heaven forbid if they will soon make the college a gypsy camp.
2. They have no acredation to the UGC (University Grants comission) as the institute claims it does.
3. No BBA books issued instead BMS and BMM books are given to students.
4. In a span of one week class only occurs 4 times a week and they make statements saying B-schools abroad have classes for only 3 times a week.
5. Money is taken for field trips but goes into the head co-ordinator Jagmohan Bhanver's pockets instead
6. Re-exam fees is Rupees 1500/- Yes I kid you not most colleges in Mumbai pay 500 Rupees for 2 re-exams
7. A student was admitted to the MBA programme without a undergraduate degree
8. Rude administrative staff who will do anything to get at your throat if you are a day late in paying the fees.
9. Open copying during exams even the supervisor promotes it
10. No college ID cards issued
11. No library cards available to students
12. No parents teacher conference end of the year
13. No fixed syllabus which means you could probably study year 3 subjects in year one
14. The staff keeps changing
15. One day ONLY 2 CLASSES
17. Un promised internships
18. No participation in college festivals around Mumbai as the college is a fraud college and lack of students
19. Inaccurate fee structure; 20, 000 per year is taken for books and instead barely 500 rupees is spent on books per year. When my son complained about this the professor told him the expensive books are in the library for reference but should be left in the library. Stuff and nonsense
20. No placements of jobs in top co-operates after you graduate more over companies cannot even recognize the IGPM diploma students recieve at the end of the course as it's not recognized by UGC or University of Mumbai
21. The Delhi and Indore campuses of this university has been shut down thanks to the college not able to pay lease.
22. College Dean un-available at all times
23. No report cards given to students
24. No Collaberation with Seneca college (IGPM)
24. No collaberation with Thomas Jefferson college (PGPM)
I hope justice is served to the innocent students and I hope fraud colleges like these shut down as it harms this great nation of ours
