Inefficiency of BSNL

I am a broadband user. My phone number is 2563 4355 which is in Panihati Telephone Exchange area. My Dataone modem went out of order on 12.3.09. The very next day I lodged a complaint. Then again on 14th and 15th. A mechanic visited my house and pulled this plug and pushed that plug and told me to take the modem to the Exchange. And it was taken there. They said, after checking [! ] it in a room beyond my sight, that it was alright. Back home, when plugged, the modem did not work. To see it for myself I got a different modem and plugged it. And lo and behold, BSNL was connected! So the sick modem was again taken to the Exchange. They checked it again out of my sight and informed that the modem was quite in order and my pc might have some problem. I failed to convince them that if a different modem worked how could the poor pc be blamed?

Persistently, I lodged another complaint on 26.3.09. On 27th one of their men visited my house and, strangely enough, he could not even open the pc.

Again I lodged a complaint on 27th... And I don't know how far the story will run.
