I was flying to Manchester via Helsinki from Delhi on 10th Jan'09 by Finnair flight no. AY0022
I had Purchased 1Litre of Bacardy Rum and 200 ml of Jonnie walker Blue label at IGI Delhi Airport departure lounge from Alpha future airport retail pvt ltd. Before buying these liquors I had asked specifically at Duty free shop that please let me know if there is any issue in carrying liquors if I'm going to Manchester and I have a connecting flight from Helsinki. They told that we will give you these in a sealed bag and there should not any problen at Helsinki. But Helsinki airport officials didn't allowed these liquors. They removed these liquors and given a "Certificate of removed Article" Whose serial no is G238374.
The total cost of these items was $ 60.72.
Can I request you please provide the compensation for this.
