My name is Ashwin Panchal and my membership no. is: 2436864 & have been cheated by Mahindra Club Holidays
Considering the marriage was nearing & plan for honeymoon were blossoming, Club Mahindra came into picture and representative Tauheen Alam who visited our residence for detailed explanation was so prospering & promising to my situation .
I had planned my wedding at the end of November month & was clearly advised by the executive that Honeymoon can be planned easily with club holidays (national & international) & was given no choice to rethink on the plans available as executive forced to make immediate payment for booking the International Holiday offer (inclusive ), as he claimed it was last corporate package deal made available on a special request.
The executive had mentioned that we will be able to plan an international or national holiday after the first three EMI’s.
It was really misleading when we got to know that we can only avail the complimentary holidays after the three EMI’s & to avail the 7 days Holidays we have to wait until 01/05/2013.
Despite of all the follow up call’s or messages sent to him, He has never turned back with a positive response.
Also, he never advised us How can we stop the payable EMI, if found unsuitable.
I had clearly informed him that since we are financially managing the wedding and the reception, I might also want to cancel the membership if not suitable after a couple of months. Tauheed had then informed that we can transfer the membership or even sell the membership to another person who need the package that we are in.
We would just need to call him on his personal number / company provided contact number or customer care hotline number.
Somehow after the successful contact made to customer care on 3rd Dec, Tele caller took the complaint against the excecutive & requested for cancellation of whole deal which was never notified to higher authority as we didn’t receive any call back and remained pending.
But again an EMI – 5101/- has been deducted which has lead to financial stress and unwanted arguments in the family.
Successful conversation was striked with customer care again on 12th Dec & Rep - Visalakshi promised that pending complaint for cancellation of membership with refund will be escalated & also EMI Cash back will be processed within 48 working hours (2 Working days), also offered call back within the mentioned timeline 48 hrs confirming the status of complaint.
I have additionally borne cost for Honeymoon as club Mahindra was of no help to me & there were zero options available.
Money spent is just a waste & would no longer want to take the burden of any EMI’s.
I would kindly request you to look into the matter and assist with cancellation & refund of charges paid as no service has been utilized till date.
