Dear Sir,

We have the Electricity Acct No C IND-oo20 old Acct No Aoi-831 situated at Shop No 69-70 Bhargava Place New Railway Road GurgaonPin 122001 Haryana since last 6 years or so. There has been no problem what so ever and the meter has crossed over one lakh units now. Our average bill comes in the summer season appox Rs 20000/per month. Last Bill Dt 22 Apr 11 was for Rs 15362/ for 2287 units, and now in bill dt 11 May 11 the old reading is 3446 and new says zero and shows units consumed 6960 and bill is for Rs 39007/. We assume that meter must have stopped functioning and that is why this arbitrary average bill given to us. There is absolutely no tampering with the meter which has never happened even in the past. Why meter has got stopped we donot know the reasons since this is an electronic meter and looks like some electrical fault might have taken place and since meter is locked and beyond reach for all therefore the fault must have been noticed by the meter reader and in all earnest we expected that the same should have been brought to our notice which was not the case. In view of the above may we request you to kindly replace the meter immediately for which if there are any charges we are willing to pay, as well as we be given the bill for the period from 11 Apr 11 till the date of installation of new meter the average bill for the same period over last two to three years comparative so that no injustice is done to any side.

Looking forward for a confirmation and early resolution of the problem so that we donot face any harrasment.
