Non receipt of mutual fund dividend

Sir/Madam

I have an online trading account in icicidirect and the

account no. is 8500171232 and the account is linked to

icicibank Chennai account 007701521704 for the last two and

half years. Earlier it was linked to my icicibank

Mumbai account002601022775. My mumbai bank accont was closed

one year ago. I have some mutual funds in demat form.

Due to failure of icicidirect to intimate the AMCs the updated

linked bank account details and current address details, the

dividend declared by Birla Sun Life for Bila top 100 fund on

15/10/09, 12-03 andPrincipal Mutual fund for principal large cap

fund on 29/7/09 could not be deposited to the bank

account. The details were given to center manager

icicidirect, KK nagar West, Chennai in November. I have

been in contact with that branch But the branch (manager) is

useless one..I have given mail to helpdesk on 16th

Feb.and I am not getting proper response. The reply I got

from Mumbai is

With reference to your below e-mail, we would like to

inform that the AMC for BIRLA TOP 100 FUND - DIVIDEND scheme

had issued a dividend cheque amounting to Rs.1, 634.59 in

favor of your old bank and had got undelivered due to

address mismatch. We request you to provide us the below

documents for updation these details and revalidation of

cheque and send it the address provided in the mail.

1. Bank & address updation Request attested by

the Banker (Banker's Verification Letter).

2. Self attested PAN card copy

2. Cancelled cheque of New Bank Account.

My question is why have ICICIDIRECT not provided the

AMCs the updated linked account since oct? Now there is

no change in linked bank account in the last two and half

years and in address in the last 10 months. Then there is the

question of updation request form me,

I have been giving mails to coo, helpesk of icicidirect and iam not getting any reply

Now I request you to take up the matter with icicidirect
