MISLEADING POLICY WORDINGS

I would like to draw your kind attention to misleading policy wordings of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. This is regarding health insurance policy#4034i/FFH/W-1815226/01/000 sum insured (Rs 3, 00, 000) renewed on 13th June, 11 for Rupees 5, 920. I included one extra member in the policy this year & paid an additonal sum of Rs 1, 400 for the same.

As per their renewal benefits stated in the policy wordings: "A customer is entitled to receive an additonal sum insured of 5% for a claim free year" I didnt make any claim last year & as per the policy wordings i should have been given an additonal sum insured of 5% on 3, 00, 000 amounting 15, 000 & ideally my renewed sum insured must be 3, 15, 000 but they didnt increase the sum insured.

I made several calls to the customer service team & droppeed several emails to them but so far all in vain. Their senior managers are either busy or they dont come to attend the call. I would really appreciate if some one could please look into these misleading policies of the health insurance companies & provide us the immediate resolutions.
