Debit Card Cash Revert

I am a customer of HDFC BANK MATHURA, have an account by name K>B.OIL.Carrier account no. 02682560005543.Last month i went to bangkok and i use my debit card for shopping but at the the rime swiping transaction failed due to swiping machine hanging problem and the transaction reciept not print. After this i came back to india and check my account it shows that your account is debited by Rs 40673.Then i will go to the bank they said you have to register a complaint on the helpline. Then i have registered a complaint on 29 march and the complaint no.260080233, they said your amount will be back after 12 working days, still the amount was not back and the helpline phone banker says please wait 2 more days everytime and misguide me everytime each phone call says differ word to me. So please help me out to revert my amount from bank.
